Day 1 – Bangalore
Welcome to Railway station / Airport & Transfer to Hotel. BANGALORE is the capital of Karnataka. It is called as the garden city for its delicate blossoms and greenery that impart a unique beauty to this lovely city. The weather is the city’s best feature, with pleasant summers and bearable winters. Kemp Gowda founded the city in 1537 – today it is a bustling and diverse city, with ancient arts that flourish alongside the Silicon Plateau of India. Later visit Bull Temple, Lal baugh, drive past Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park & Isakson Temple. Late evening return to the hotel & overnight stay at Bangalore.

 

Day 2 – Bangalore – Mysore
Morning after breakfast proceeds to Mysore (140 kms / 4 Hrs). En route visit Sriranga pattnam – the 18th century Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. Check in at hotel. MYSORE – was the capital of the old royal Mysore province. The word Mysore expands to “Mahishasurana Ooru” which means the town of Mahishasura. The story goes that the demon Mahishasura was killed by goddess Chamundeshwari atop the Chamundi hill near Mysore and hence the name. Ever since, the Mysore royal family has worshipped Chamundeshwari as the palace deity.

 

Day 3 – Mysore
Morning, after breakfast full day sightseeing of Mysore. Visit Chamundi Hills for a panoramic view of Mysore city and the famous Chamundi Temple. Also visit Mysore Palace, Art Gallery, and St. Philomena’s Church – Built in the Gothic style. Enjoy the evening at the famous Brindavan Gardens. Late evening return to the hotel & overnight at Mysore.

 

Day 4 – Mysore – Ooty
Morning Proceed to Ooty (141 kms / 6 Hrs). OOTY – called the queen of southern hill stations, botanical paradise is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters .The name Nilgiri or the Blue Mountains may have been derived from the funnel-shaped lavender-blue flowers blossom. Arrival & check into the hotel. Evening free at lake. Return to the hotel & overnight stay at Ooty.

 

Day 5 – Ooty
Morning, after breakfast visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak of Ooty, Botanical Garden, Tea Estates & Water fall. Visit Coonoor (17kms). It is not very commercialized and retains a certain amount of untouched charm. It is a small town with an equable climate that has made it popular as a hill resort in its own right. The main attractions are its view points and Sim’s Park, a small well maintained botanical garden that has several varieties of plants not to be found in other parts. Also visit Lamb’s Rock and Dolphins Nose .Evening return to the hotel & overnight stay at Ooty.

 

Day 6 – Ooty – Kodaikanal
Early morning proceed to Kodaikanal, (236 kms / 7 Hrs). KODAIKANAL – is located amidst the folds of the verdant. Palani hills is one of the most popular serene hill stations in India, which attracts any visitor, with her wooded slopes, mighty rocks, enhancing waterfalls and a beautiful lake. En route you can visit Palani Temples. Check into the hotel. Enjoy the scenic view of Palani Village & Palani Hills. Return to the hotel & overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

 

Day 7 – Kodaikanal
Morning, after breakfast leave for a full day sightseeing of Kodaikanal. The hill station is situated at an altitude of about 2,133 mts. The pride of Kodaikanal is the”’Kurinji-flower”, which blossoms once in 12 years. Visit Silver Cascade, Coaker’s walk, Green valley view, Upper lake View point, Pillars rock etc. Evening enjoy at the Lake. Return to the hotel & overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

 

Day 8 – Kodaikanal – Madurai / Coimbatore
After breakfast proceed to Madurai (120 kms / 4 Hrs) / Coimbatore (170 kms / 6 Hrs) Railway station / Airport for onward journey.
