Day 1 – Delhi / Haridwar ( 210 Kms/06hours )
Morningarrive in Delhi & proceed for Haridwar. The whole of Uttarakhand is dotted with temples of Vishnuand Shiva. Vishnu is known as Hari and Shiva as Hari. Dwarmeans gate, and it is for this reason that this place is known as Haridwar orHaridwar, as it is the Gateway to Shri Badrinath and Shri Kedarnath, the holyshrines of Hari and Har. The Hindu Pantheon allows freedom of worship ofGods in any form. Uttarakhand abounds in shrines of god and goddesses andHaridwar from time immemorial has been the gateway to these shrines. It is saidthat Haridwar was the place of meditation for many ancient sages. SageKapil meditated here and for that reason this place was for several years knownas Kapilasthan. Arrival & Overnightstay at Haridwar.
Day 2 – Haridwar/ Sayna chatti (height6540 fts. /200 Kms/08 hours)
Early morning depart to Sayna chatti via Mussoorie. On the way visit Mussoorie Lake & Kempty Falls. Arrival at Sayna chatti& OvernightStay.
Day 3 – Sayna chatti/Yamunotri / Sayna chatti (Height 10800 fts./13 kms/1.5 Hours/7 Kms trek)
Depart from Saynachatti to Janki chatti via Hanuman chatti & Phool chatti by jeep. FromJanki chatti take a 6 kms trek up toYamunotri. Have bath at the hot water kund if desired. Darshan at Yamunotritemple and trek back to Janki chatti. Depart back at Sayna chatti Arrival &overnight stay at Sayna chatti.
Day 4 – Sayna chatti / Uttarkashi (Height 3500fts./108 Kms/06 Hours)
Earlymorning leave for Uttarkashi. On arrival visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and theShakti Temple. Overnight at Uttarkashi.
Day 5 – Uttarkashi /Gangotri (Heights 1222 fts./100 kms/06 Hours)
This morning depart to Gangotri. Gangotri is a very sacred place situated onthe bank of the Bhagirathi River. Gangotri is the place where Raja Bhagirathobserved hard penance to please Lord Shankar to bring Ganga down to the earthand obliged his sixty thousand ancestors. The Gangotri temple, isconstructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century, issituated on the right bank of Bhagirathi. The Gangotri shrine is situatedat an elevation of 3,048 meters. Submerged Shiv ling is the place where,according to mythology Lord Shiva sat when he received the Ganga in his mattedlock. It is visible in winter months when water level decreases. Kedar GangaSangam around 100 yards from the Ganga Temple flows the riverKedar Ganga. Starting from the Kedar Valle, this river meets the Bhagirathi onits left bank. Evening return back toUttarkashi. Arrival & overnightstay at Uttarkashi.
Day 6 – Uttarkashi / Sitapur(Height 6500 fts./130 Kms/06 hours)
Earlymorning depart to Sitapur via Gupt-kashi, Srinagar & Rudraprayag. The Alaknandaand the Mandakhini rivers come together for a confluence at Rudraprayag. Take Darshanat the Sangam of the two rivers and proceed to Sitapur. Arrival & overnightstay at Sitapur.
Day 7 – Sitapur /Kedarnath (Height 14000 fts. / 14 kms one way trek route)
Earlymorning depart to Gaurikund by road and onward trek 14 kms one way toKedarnath. Gaurikundis at an altitude of 1982 meters. one can take bath in the hot water ponds hereand visit the Gauri Temple. This is theplace where Goddess Parvathi meditated to attain Lord Shiva. Itis the base for a trek to Kedarnath. The Kedarnath shrine is situated at anelevation of 3,581 meters. The Kedarnath shrine, is one of the 12jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop ofthe majestic Kedarnath range. Kedarnathtemple is open up to noon 12:30 and at evening arti and darshan is available.Morning special pooja has to be booked a day before. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Day 8 – Kedarnath / Sitapur
After breakfast trek back toGaurikund and proceed onward by vehicle to Sitapur. Arrival at Sitapur andovernight stay at Sitapur.
Day 9 – Sitapur / Badrinath (200 Kms / 8hrs drive)
Early morning depart to Badrinath viaJoshi math. In Joshi math Aadi Guru Shankracharya, who came all the way fromKerala’s in the 8th Century A.D, perform penance under a tree here and aftergetting enlightenment, established a Math (religious centre), known as”Joshi math”. The name Joshi math is derived from it. Temple of Narsingh and Nav Durga are located here.Badrinath is an important Dham in thisChardham Yatra. This ancient place is on the banks of the Alakhnanda Riversurrounded by snow clad mountains of the Himalayas.Evening participate in Swarn Aarti and Kapoor Arti. Overnight Stay atBadrinath.
Day 10 – Badrinath / Mana/ Badrinath
Early morning after taking a hotspring bath in Tapt Kund, visit to the temple for Pooja.. Badrinath is guarded on either sideby the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. Thisrevered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name”Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”. Drive to Manavillage 3 km far away from Badrinath, there are 40km far away from Chinaborder. Mana is the last village beforethe Tibetborder. Then we proceed to Vasudhara- the falls, Bhim Shila,Ganesh Gufa, Vyas Gufa and the confluence of river Saraswati andAlaknanda and back to Badrinath.Evening return back to Badrinath & Overnight stay.
Day 12 – Badrinath / Srikot (100 Kms / 7 hrs drive)
Depart toSrikot via Joshimath, Pipalkoti, Nandprayag, Karnprayag & Rudraprayag. Evening reach Srikot. Overnight Stay at Srikot.
Day 13 – Srikot / Haridwar (150 Kms / 6 hrs drive)
Depart to Haridwar. Early morning depart toHrishikesh. Arrival & Hrishikesh Darshan. Visit lakshman jhula, ram jhula,swarg ashram. After lunch leave return to Haridwar. Late afternoon reachHaridwar. Evening visit Hari Ki Pauri & perform the Aarti. Return to thehotel & overnight Stay at Haridwar.
Day 14 – Haridwar / Delhi (210Kms/06 Hours)
After breakfast depart to Delhi. Afternoon arrival at Delhi & Tour Ends.
